I understand that you don't like Trembley
Mostly because the Orioles have been losing (not his fault). You liked Weaver because he won (not all his fault either). I happen to prefer Weaver’s style as well. Three run homers, pitching and defense works if you have that kind of team. The Orioles haven’t had the horses for that, lately. In the next few years, they hopefully will have pitching and pretty good hitting, although not the 30+ home run type. I think the Orioles are going to have a lot of 20 HR type hitters with a lot of doubles. That still doesn’t mean they should be playing small ball, bunting, hit & run type stuff. I think they will be a lot of fun to watch. They will score runs and hopefully the pitching will come through. I hope the manager emphasizes on base percentages, working the count and getting your pitch more than bunting and hit & run.
You, the writer of this piece
are a complete fucking dumbass, every team does this with every player. I bet fucking A-rod and Pujols are laying down bunts in ST batting practice, it’s a baseball skill that even if you don’t use it often, you should probably know how to fucking do.

That's an intelligent point.
Every team does it with every player. I’ve never thought about it that way. You’re right, I’ve seen the error of my ways. Bunting drills and stressing the importance of productive outs is actually a good idea.
For a while every team let let their starters complete most games. For a long time nobody wore batting helmets. Until 1947 none of the teams had black players at spring training either. Do you really want to make the “this is what everybody does argument?” A-rod hasn’t had a sacrifice bunt since 1999. Pujols has one for his career. If those guys are practicing it, they’re wasting their time. They should be working on something else.
I don’t know you, but I’m thinking you might be a fucking asshole. Good work.
I might be an asshole
but at least I don’t get my panties in a wad about fucking spring training batting practice

calm down dude
he’s expressing his opinion, there is no need to call him a dumbass. Show a little restraint, ok?
"It feels like home,’’ Pie said. "All my friends are here."
huh
it’s odd that you got so twisted up about a blog post about spring training batting practice then.
