You're saying Release Atkins as a joke,

but I’m not that sure it’s a bad idea. Give the kid a chance.

I think he's going to rebound this year

And put up 15-20 homers.
He’ll have a crazy low average, but the power will be there.

So you're saying...

he’ll be a poor man’s Luke Scott?

15-20 hr and an OBP of around .300-320

sounds about right, not really worth anything though

Not worth anything more than Ty Wigginton at least

Which, amazingly enough, we already have one of anyway.

Off topic: I want to watch Os games

So, my wife and I moved to Seoul, South Korea, and mlb.tv is blocked here on the internets.

I want to watch Os games! Any ideas?

Fyi, I’m on Justin.tv, but can’t find any live baseball feeds. (lamiest)

Know anyone in the states?

If slingbox still exists, you could set up an account with them, right?

by daveh873 on Mar 22, 2010 9:26 PM EDT up reply actions

Want to hook me up with a feed?

I don’t know anyone with a slingbox that cares about baseball.
Football? Yes.

by Dr Orpheus on Mar 22, 2010 10:15 PM EDT up reply actions

lol

its my dad’s. although i could ask. don’t know how much he watches o’s games when i’m not at home.

by twistedlogic on Mar 22, 2010 10:26 PM EDT up reply actions

If it's possible that would be rad

And if you can set up an account on Justin.tv you can stream the game for others wanting to watch the game.

by Dr Orpheus on Mar 22, 2010 10:33 PM EDT up reply actions

i tried that before

but its the same thing really. i have the basic box that requires the tv to be on and at the channel you want to watch. it annoys me cuz my mom watches greys anatomy or some such while i’m trying to watch CSI on thursdays.

look into proxy servers.

I think there are ways you can pay for a server to be a proxy server….i.e., you buy an account with a website that you CAN get in Korea, and then with the account, you tell that server what you want to see and it forwards it.

or maybe i’m just making this up. but i think this exists.

better yet,

proxy programs. block your IP address, so no one can tell you’re in korea. might work?

i.e., NetShade

Let's use Felix Pie sparsely

He’s a 250 AB utility player at best IMHO.

I like this game

Cla Meredith and Will Ohman will not give up a single run ALL SEASON.

Sidearm deliveries and goofy Harry Caray impressions for all!

on the other hand

Kevin Millwood, if he pitches 175 innings he’ll give up 242 earned runs and rock a 21.8 H/9.

Still sounds better than Adam Eaton.

At this point

Pie > Reimold in LF
Hughes > Aubrey at 1B (Backup)

Do you play Turner at 2B to start the season until Roberts is 100% or risk losing him for longer? Tucker has been impressive also this spring, good to know that he can cover some ground in the OF. Who should Trembley call up if it was out of Montanez and Tucker though? Probably wouldn’t hurt to have Reimold get some AB’s in Norfolk to start the season either.
