Saturday Open Thread

The O's lost again, I overslept, and you probably don't want to read about how bad they are playing right now anyway.

Consider this your Open Thread.

UPDATE—Some bonus clips from zk:

O's closer Gonzalez talks about injury - baltimoresun.com
Michael Gonzalez hears the fans' frustration and he feels our pain. Also, he feels pain in his shoulder. -zk

Fire crowley and Samuel?

See where that gets us? This could get very ugly… This team is so young it just needs a big win right now.

I'm sure your parents will be totally kvelled

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words—"mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

Alright, which one of y'all added this to PA's Wiki page?
On April 16, 2010 a Fox Sports article revealed that Angelos had the audacity to deny Cal Ripken, Jr., a bona fide Oriole legend and student of the game, when Ripken offered to come work for the franchise in a supporting role to help the O’s young talent develop. Angelos seemingly had concerns about Ripken receiving all the credit for any subsequent success, thereby proving that he is, in fact, THE worst owner in all of baseball.

Just what we need...

More controversy over playing time. I assume, because this is the Orioles, Montanez will out hit Jones, Markakis, and Reimold, which add more fuel to the whole “trade Jones, Reimold, and Scott for AGonz” fire.

Anyone who thinks Montanez can outperform AJ, Nick, Nolan, Pie, or Luke

is straight up insane. He’s not a ML OF.

No caps and a misuse of “to”, but it’s an improvement.

I just went to see an apt. in a 2 family house in New Milford, NJ

Upon arrival I saw an Orioles flag proudly hung by their front door. Turns out they are big time O’s fans. None of you live in New Milford, NJ right?

My mother-in-law lives next door in Teaneck

But that’s a difficult subject for me. (Rim shot.) Will be in the vicinity in July.
