CHRIS TILLMAN THROWS NO HITTER
Chris Tillman throws a no hitter against the Gwinnett Braves. A walk and an error by Michael Aubrey was the difference. Hopefully he will be able to help 3E with some confidence issues. Its a beautiful thing to see Tillman no hitting someone...especially when these hits that are not coming are NOT home runs. CONGRATS to Tillman and the Tides.

Finally
something good happens. How long before he is moved up?

I'd like to see him get at least 8 more starts at AAA

I think if he has 5 more solid starts, we should bring him up. I am worried about his inconsistency. We’ll have to wait and see how he follows up after this terrific game.
They'll bring him up around the All-Star break
he could have made the team in the spring for Opening day but I am glad they held him back. Bottom line is to have him here for good! Knock on wood.

This is excellent news. Arrieta is also still pitching well for the Tides. I expect Tillman to start pitching well consistently, and if Arrieta continues to pitch well, we’ll probably see them sometime soon. Unfortunately, Josh Bell still isn’t playing as well as we’d like to see, though: .238/.256/.405, with just two walks. Hopefully he’ll get it together.
