I just followed Gameday yesterday
So I didn’t actually see it, but the stats don’t look like it was Bergs best game ever. Does Trembley just think 0 runes = best game EVAR? I mean his whip was up there. I’ll take the result 100 times out of 100, but best game ever? I dunno…
"You accept mediocrity and you get mediocrity." - Adam Jones, Son!
whip doesn't mean crap
when none come across the plate.
June 9th 2009 against SEA probably best game. 8IP/5H/0R/0BB/6K
so yeah I agree with you. DT needs to check his players stats. maybe thats why they are losing.
Now that's more like it
Maybe Trembo just wasn’t watching that one

Yeah, I'd live with those stats every time from my 5th starter

I really liked him the day-after-Birdland-day-massacre
He allowed a run, but he struck out Jason Bay three times, went 8 innings and only allowed four hits.

The Twins can GIDP with the best of 'em
especially with a groundball pitcher on the mound.
15 ground balls for 20 outs. I’ll take it.

O's vs. M's Tuesday night
I will post this a few more times this weekend. Until you all get sick of me.
You have a chance to meet me IN PERSON, that’s right, IN THE FLESH, this coming Tuesday night against the M’s, which also happens to be Brian Matusz T-Shirt night (if you’re one of the first 10k fans in the park. Lovely mods Stacey and 2632 will also be in attendance.
We will be buying sweet seats off stubhub Sunday or Monday, probably in the $25 neighborhood.
If you’re interested in coming, please email me directly at zknower at earthlink dot net with something like “orioles” in the subject line.
Feel free to reply here as well, but I NEED THE EMAIL so it will be easy to coordinate.
PLN, I have you already, so no need to email again unless your plans have changed.

do you still have
300 offline friends still listed knowing damn well they don’t use it? remember how the order of the names was the new speed dial order.
I've had the same AIM screen name since I was 16 years old
So like, half my life almost. Sometimes someone will sign on and I think, “Who the hell is that person?” I don’t delete them, though. I don’t know why.

My buddy
Emailed me the other day from ian.s.ellis@____.com or something close. He works for the Dept. of Commerce but is looking for a new job. He has had the same email since we were in like 4th grade. I was like “What happened to your old email address”!?!?
He said: “”mailto:Insyderz9@aol.com">Insyderz9@aol.com just wasn’t cutting it on the old resumes anymore.
I think its just like clothes back then. You look back at jr. high and are like “what the eff was I wearing, is that plaid!?”"

yea mine'll be upper deck
its a tuesday night. how many ppl will actually be there? moving down shouldn’t be an issue
by twistedlogic on May 7, 2010 10:29 AM EDT up reply actions
I'll probably be there with some people - bargain night tickets for sure
last bargain night, we just found an empty upper deck section and sat at the very front. Coulda moved down to the first tier, but those first row upper deck seats are actually pretty great for watching the entire play happen.
Will try to rock the CC shirt.
truf
i’m rather interested in the kinda beer god drinks. gotta get me some of that.

I really wasn't thrilled about the Miggi signing when it happened
And, in the part of my mind that doesn’t really approve of doing things that won’t help the team long term, I’m still not. But you know how miserable the Orioles have been this year? Imagine how much MORE miserable they would have been without Miggi. I’ve decided to embrace it. Plus, watching him play last night I realized that I had forgotten how much I used to like him.
I do miss Felix though :(
Sometimes I just want to talk about beer, blowjobs and baseball, y’know? -2632
beings i moved away in 98
and i was never really able to watch them like i can now, I never really got to watch him play the first time around. But from what I have seen so far, the man LOVES to play baseball. And as a fan of the sport I am glad to watch that.
he’ll be back soon to turn the frown upside down!
gotta agree with this
i wasn’t happy about miggy coming back either at first, but he’s pleasantly surprised.

Also, he got released the day after the worst at bat in the history of baseball
Not liking the pitch, he decided to retract his commitment to the bunt on a suicide squeeze, stranding Ichiro on the basepath home. Then he struck out.
