The bird article was great.

Apparently, the Pads aren't any smarter than we are
….batting Miggy cleanup.

I'm very hungover
and the future inlaws are coming over soon. Wish me luck…
Also I watched those videos of Pelzer and he looks pretty awesome. Lots of arms and legs flying all over the place – looks pretty hard to pick up the ball. And his slider is NASTY.
Rub some $100 bills on it, you sell-out. -duck
As bad as the pitching's been, the run distribution this season is startling
We’re 29-18 when scoring 4 runs or more, and an almost unbelievable 3-53 when scoring 3 or less.
Wow, that ridiculous.

Nats games just got 15 minutes shorter
Since every time Christian Guzman came to bat the announcer at Nats park would say Christian Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuzman.
Dan says
looks like Ohman’s been dealt. In this market, I’m guessing PTBNL? Seriously, the Yankees have picked up three useful pieces for a grand total of nothing. At this point, I cant imagine the return on any of our guys being worth dealing them.

I haven't heard anything
Really annoying that Wigginton and Scott weren’t traded. Pretty boring deadline….

Starting RHP, good strikeout numbers, also gives up a lot of hits (both majors and minors). Nicknamed “Das unglaubliche Hurk”, which translates as “the incredible Hurk”! Love it!

Saw him pitch in New Orleans
Serviceable starter, probably has a future in long relief, or as a back end starter when the cavalry is riding the bus. If we can get anything useful for a “specialist” I’m all for it.

Bawahahaha
the Braves picked up Rick Ankiel and the Professor for three minor leaguers. Woooooow, those guys totally do not deserve to win anything.
