Completely OT, but I'm desperate
Anyone good with fixing PCs? Having a serious wireless connectivity issue with my daughter’s PC.
Wireless Verizon DSL – every other PC/device is connecting to it fine. My daughter’s WinXP SP2 machine won’t. “Limited or no connectivity.” I’ve tried everything from flushdns ro ipconfig /release & ipconfig /renew, reseting WinSock, you name it. Uninstalled & reinstalled wireless device on her PC (belkin USB). I’ve powered down the PC and the modem/router and powered ’em back up. No dice.
What should I try next?

Ended up being a WinSock problem related to the SP3 update for WinXp
I rolled that back, and everything seems to work now.
And I did use a diff USB port.

Every game thread should include a beer from the list so everyone knows what to drink. People can post impressions about the beer as well as post about the game. Those who miss gamethreads just have to catch up on their own time.
That would be fun.
But we would have to set a schedule for every two weeks or month or so in advance, because most of those beers aren’t easy to come by. I can make a trip once a month to Laurel to pick up what I need for the month though.

So, what have we learned....
The O’s aren’t quite good enough to take a series from the 2nd best team in baseball on the road. Not too much to get down about. The progress of the players is still evident, but there is still a lot of work to do. Back to B-more for some home cooking and a reelin’ Mariners team.
