Buck Showalter, Talented Prospects Giving Orioles Some Hope for Future
I answered some questions for NESN.com for a feature they do called "Across Enemy Lines." I think the writer must have already had that title picked out before I responded, though, because it's not what I talked about.

Wow.
You weren’t kidding. That title had nothing to do with the content of the interview. I don’t disagree with your position, but man, not a lot of hope in that article.

I call 'em like I see 'em
I remember I answered some questions for Bluebird Banter last time we played the Blue Jays and I didn’t even realize how harsh I sounded until one of them commented something about how grumpy I am.
I don’t think it was entirely hopeless, though. I thought I was pretty bullish on Wieters and Matusz. As for the last one, yeah, well, like I said, the Orioles brought it on themselves.

hehe, yeah
it was pretty gloom and doom on the franchise as a whole. i would’ve thought i was reading an NST blog, but there was no mention of angelos. ;) good job, though, seriously.
gosh you guys
was it that down in the dumps?
I love Buck! I’m glad he’s here!

Your responses were pretty much on the money
and well written. Mike Cole from NESN.com, on the other hand, needs to learn how to proofread.
It was pretty down in he dumps
But it was right on the dot especially the last answer.

great job
I thought you were dead-on. Trying to paint a rosy picture of this season would have come across as phony.
We’re all happy about the new Showrioles, but overall this year has been wretched.
