World Series Game Seven: Rangers @ Cardinals, 8:05 PM
Today is definitely the last day of baseball season. It's a little sad. Do you think the Rangers feel really stupid today? Not only because they blew a bajillion leads last night, but also because they are sending Matt Harrison out to pitch game seven against Chris Carpenter? Where is C.J. Wilson?
In case you miss our old friend Gary Thorne, here he is calling last night's walk off for ESPN radio. I hope you don't feel too jealous when you hear him having a Thornegasm for another team.

Don't talk shit about Bobby V please.

I dunno. I have no idea about anything Pujols did at a Beck rally or whatnot. So I admit I’m operating from a position of ignorance on that front. I just don’t think it should automatically damn someone to ostracism. He could just be poorly informed and easily susceptible to Beck’s brand of propaganda. Contrary to popular belief, I am not Jewish.
I'm reading an article about it now

sadder about no more baseball for months and months

Whatever Dude:
We were one out away from winning it all, and you root for a team that makes golf reservations in August.
Love,

Dear Westie:
You’re a punk.
Someday you’ll understand what it means to WORK for a living. To be a MAN.
For now, enjoy your mollycoddled life getting fucked up in a dorm in Oregon.
Don’t let us catch you in the Lone Star State, we’ll whip some manners inta ya.

p.s. Oh, and that insufferable #sshole who just transferred into your Freshman English section? Yeah, we sent him. Enjoy.
We still suck, but on Sept. 29, 2011, we did a Very Cool Thing. Yeah, we did that.
I wonder if God told Josh Hamilton about this.
That would have been a real bummer.

This is what I hope happens to the entire Cardinals team.

Man, what a bummer of a game 7
It had all the excitement of an Orioles versus the Royals tilt in mid June.
If you look at those UZR ratings or whatever
As ZK put it, 158 days to go now...
Trouble is, even though I’ve already heaved a giant load of chunky-style all over this stoopid result — which, you’ll recall, I got in on the ground floor of fearing weeks ago — I STILL get no relief, ’cause 157 of those days will be spent having to listen to or read clueless douchebags blather away about the feeble virtues of the World Champeen St. Louis Cardinal Mediocrities.
And all I’ve got left by way of a response is dry heaves. This isn’t QUITE as bad as the ‘06 Cardinals, but it’s close.
We still suck, but on Sept. 29, 2011, we did a Very Cool Thing. Yeah, we did that.
