but i’d be very surprised if it happens. Considering the state of the rest of their team, trading down and doing the same thing with Matt Barkley + at least 2 extra first round picks makes way more sense
I had a thought a while back
that Peyton could very well transition into the Colts offensive coordinator, and hand over the reigns to Luck. He’s basically a member of the coaching staff/on-field brain trust as is.

and i would too. outside of boldin, which of our receivers has proven talent? lee evans is out, torrey smith and dickson haven’t done it for more than a game or two, the O-line has 2 guys on it that were cut by other teams…

I’d even say Boldin has been a disappointment. He’s not performing like a #1 receiver and hasn’t since he got here. Whether that’s on him not getting open or Flacco who knows.
We’re in much better shape than most AFC teams that are considered contenders. NE has the worst D in the league, Pitt has the worst O Line in the league.

and our O in general is worse. no one denies the talent on our D or of Ray Rice, but after that, it’s not as much as we think.

True, but that was ridiculous.
At least the refs in the baltimore game were fair. Pitt got away with a dozen (minimum) pass interference calls not to mention what should have been a 15 yard face mask on Polamalu that they JUST gave to the NE guy on the other side of the ball. Ridiculous.
