yeah but I don't get MLBN
which means a lot of people don’t. I mean, not that THAT many people care about the Gold Gloves, but you konw.
Oh, so I don't know if this was widely published or not
but I heard today that this whole nominee process is a sham. Rawlings told ESPN who the winners were and ESPN manufactured two other non-winners to make a show out of it.
Take-aways: if they didn’t win, Hardy, Wieters, and Markakis are on there because the Bristol folks actually love them some Orioles. Also: not only did Jeter not win, but he also was ignored by ESPN for at least once. That’s pretty nice.

I think Stacey brought up the other day that they weren't really nominees
in that no one got to select between the 3 of them, but i assumed they were at least the top 3 vote-getters. Did ESPN make the other two up entirely?

that I think this was a pretty cool thing on ESPN’s part to try and bring a little glam to the post-season awards and also to cast a wider net in celebrating good defense. More baseball is always good.
