Eagles have Vick, Jackson, McCoy, and lots of people would even include Maclin. Cowboys have Witten, Bryant, and I think Jones is up there. Giants have a trio of Cruz/Manningham/Nix that’s light years better than anything the Skins have and now Manning is definitely a game changer even though I hate him and thought he was severely overrated until this year. Meanwhile, the Redskins have Fred Davis?

Davis is a guy that isn’t an elite player at the moment but will be if he’s ever given a QB that doesn’t manage to underthrow him every fucking deep ball. Going back to last season, there seems to a play nearly every game where they run some kind of TE Wheel play with Davis alone on a DB or an LB and they never lead him down field, he always has to come back on the ball. I just think he’s too good to not keep on the “do not sell” list.

….and it reveals the basic issue.
The plays are all designed around exploiting weaknesses in the opponent seen from their last 5 games.

before they completely abandoned it.
its how the fucking team is built. it wears out defenses for exploitation inthe 4th quarter.
but they can’t be good at it if they don’t ever do it. and if they’re truly not good at it, then either get other personnel, or focus on something else.

I’m sick of these fucking guys beating the good teams and fucking failing on the road against shitty teams.
Harbaugh didn’t have a good game as the coach. Right now he’s trying to blow a timeout on a failed challenge, and he called for two 50+ yard field goals by Cundiff. One of these was early and gave Seattle great field position that they drove to a TD. He also cost the Ravens earlier in this particular drive by not declining a penalty that would have left 2nd and 15 instead of a 1st and 20 that the Seahawks ultimately converted. Why give them an extra down when they’re trying to burn down the clock? Stupid.
David Reed’s a goat too, but his fumbles only cost the Ravens 6 points, which is greater than the margin of victory, to be sure, but can be overcome if the offense had anything consistently going at all. This a game they should have easily won to stay in the driver’s seat for home field throughout the playoffs. I’m not impressed.
