I’m assuming there was an onside kick involved?
Anyway, wouldn’t Ortiz and his agent want this information to come out so they can drum up his asking price? He doesn’t want to play in Baltimore any more than a guy like Posada would, and Ortiz has more options than him.

and Posada too. Then, in conjunction with an Ortiz signing, I’d finally have sufficient reason to cast this team aside and be free of the albatross that is the Baltimore Orioles.
