Since the Vlad signing showed up on the radar, CC has been discussing the pro and cons, one of those being that we won't get to see Nolan Reimold this year in Baltimore.
Well, he might just get his chance.
With Lee out for at least a few days with a strained left oblique, Luke Scott can be moved to first, which would also help him play with his torn labrum. That would open up LF for the Pie/ Reimold battle that I (and others) wanted to see at the start of the season.
While Moldy hasn't hit well so far this season (.220/.319/.677), we all remember his amazing '09 season and I do believe that showing confidence in him by giving him another shot will pay off, maybe opening the door to trading Vlad (who is hitting well lately) or Lee at the deadline.
Another option is bringing up Brandon Snyder, the perpetual prospect who is hitting well this year in AAA (.277/.340/.802) and while that is significantly better than what Moldy has done so far, I've been itching to see Reimold back in B-more for ages. He's proven he can hit in the bigs, let's give him the chance to do it again.
