Camden Chat at Camden Yards: May 21st vs. Nationals

Update: I'm bumping this as a reminder. Just five days, so start making plans. I hope to see a lot of you there. And like I said before, if you even think you might go, let me know in the comments. That way I can send you some contact info so you'll have a way to meet up with us (especially if you never have before).

Our first Camden Chat game will be on Saturday, May 21st against the Nationals. The game is at 4:05 on a Saturday, which is my favorite time for games. It's an evening game that ends early enough to still do something afterward, and it makes it easier on people who have a long drive to the park.

In the past for meet ups I've attempted to purchase tickets in advance, but the truth is that it's more trouble than it's worth unless we really have a large group. It's easier I think to just meet before the game at Pickles or outside the stadium and make the purchase. I'm proposing that we sit in the LF Lower Box (those are $30 seats) but if there is group outrage over that location we can always change it. But it's the prime location to ask Luke for a copy of his birth certificate (or tell Felix he's adorable if he gets the start) and also a great place to catch all those home runs that Mark Reynolds hits.

Here is the day as I see it:

2ish: Meet at Pickles for some pre-game drinking and socializing
3:15ish: Those who don't want to or can't hang at Pickles can meet us outside the box office where we'll buy tickets
4:05: Watch the Orioles take on their arch rivals in the Battle of the Beltways (barf).

If you'll be able to make it, let us know in the comments. And if you can't make it, don't worry. We're going to plan more events through the summer, both for Orioles games and for some of the minor league affiliates.
