Norfolk lost to Charlotte 6-1.  Ryan Adams went 0-4 with 2 Ks.  Jake Fox went 0-4.  Brandon Snyder went 0-3 with a walk.  Kyle Hudson went 2-3 with a double and a walk.  Cole McCurry retired all 11 men he faced, striking out 2.  His ERA in Norfolk is 3.14 and in the 59.2 innings he has tossed in the minors this year he has struck out 64.

Bowie beat Richmond 5-4.  Xavier Avery went 1-5 with a double.  LJ Hoes went 1-5.  Joe Mahoney went 2-3.  Caleb Joseph went 0-3 with a walk.  Aaron Baker DNP.  Ronnie Welty continues to ride the pine.  Chorye Spoone gave up 1 hit in 2 innings without recording a K or a BB.  Jose Diaz went 1 inning, giving up 1 earned run on 2 hits (1 homer), while striking out 3 and walking none.

Frederick lost to Lynchburg 5-2.  Jonathan Schoop went 1-4 with a walk and a K.  Manny Machado committed 3 errors, but did go 2-4 with a double.  Kipp Schutz went 2-4 with a double.

Delmarva beat West Virginia 3-2.  Johnny Ruettiger went 0-5.  Ty Kelly went 1-4 with a walk.  Michael Ohlman went 1-3 with a K.  David Baker went 7 innings, giving up 2 earned on 1 hit (!) and 4 walks while striking out 3.
