Norfolk beat Charlotte 7-2.  Brandon Snyder went 2-4 with a K.  Jake Fox went 2-4 with a double and a homer.  Kyle Hudson went 2-3 with 2 walks and a K as well as 2 more stolen bases.  Ryan Adams DNP.  Steve Johnson gave up 2 earned on six hits and 3 walks in six innings, striking out six and posting a GB/FB of 6/4.

Delmarva lost to West Virginia 8-2.  Ty Kelly went 0-4.  Michael Ohlman went 0-3 with a walk and a K.  Johnny Reuttiger DNP.  Jarret Martin had a tough evening tonight, giving up 3 earned runs (and 5 unearned runs) in 3.2 innings on 7 hits and 4 walks, striking out 4 and posting a GB/FB of 2/5.  Martin has 8 errors on the season.  It's pretty staggering that a pitcher has 8 errors on the season.

Aberdeen lost two in Auburn today.  In the Game 1 4-1 loss, Matt Hobgood gave up 4 earned runs in 4 innings on 4 hits and 7 walks, striking out 1 and posting a GB/FB of 4/4.  Ryan Berry followed him with 2 scoreless, allowing 1 hit and 2 walks while striking out 1.  Glynn Davis went 0-3 with a walk.  Mychal Givens went 0-2 with a walk and a K.  Wynston Sawyer went 1-2 with a walk.  Connor Narron went 0-2 with a walk.  Dudley Leonora went 0-1.  The iBirds lost game 2, 8-3.  All Star Trent Howard didn't have it, giving up 4 earned in 4 innings on six hits and 3 walks, while striking out 4.  Davis went 0-4 with a K and was removed from the game.  Givens went 0-4 with 3 Ks.  After not playing in Game 1, Joe Velleggia went 2-3 with a double, a walk and a K.  Wynston Sawyer went 1-3 with a double, a walk and a K.  Narron went 2-4.

The GCL Orioles beat the GCL Rays 5-0.  Rod Bernadina DNP.  Tyler Townsend went 0-2 with a walk and was removed from the game.  Miguel Chalas went 5 scoreless, striking out 4, walking none, giving up 4 hits and posting a GB/FB of 6/3.  The GCL Orioles clinched a playoff birth.

The DSL Orioles beat the DSL Reds 4-0.  Byron Capellan went 0-3 with an error.  Hector Veloz went 0-3.  Jhondaniel Medina returned to his effective ways, going 5 shutout innings striking out 4, giving up 3 hits and 1 walk, posting a GB/FB of 4/5.  The DSL Orioles have clinched a playoff birth.
