Norfolk beat Durham 3-2.  Ryan Adams went 1-3 with a double, walk and a K.  Jake Fox and Brandon Snyder each went 1-4.  Kyle Hudson went 0-4 with a K.  Wynn Pelzer struggled through an inning and a third, giving up 1 earned run on a hit and 2 walks while striking out 1.

Bowie split a doubleheader with Trenton.  In the Game 1 3-2 loss, Xavier Avery went 0-2 with a walk.  LJ Hoes went 0-3.  Greg Miclat went 1-3 with 2 Ks.  Joe Mahoney and Aaron Baker each went 0-3 with a K.  Caleb Joseph went 1-2.  Ronnie Welty went 0-1 with a sac fly.  In the Game 2 5-4 win, Avery went 0-3 with a walk and 3 strikeouts.  Hoes went 2-4 with a double and 2 Ks.  Mahoney went 1-3.  Baker again went 0-3 with a K.  Greg Miclat went 0-2 with 2 walks and a CS (3rd on the season).  Jose Diaz pitched around some trouble in the 9th, giving up 2 hits and a walk but not a run, while striking out 1.  Apparently Welty was activated off the DL and not on the bench!  I guess I feel a little silly about having that vigil now.

Frederick clubbed Lynchburg 10-6.  Jonathan Schoop went 2-4 with a double and a homer.  Manny Machado went 1-5 with a K.  Kipp Schutz went 0-4 with a walk and 2 Ks.  Ashur Tolliver got a 3 inning save, giving up 1 earned run on 3 hits (1 homer), striking out 1 and walking none, posting a GB/FB of 4/3.

West Virginia beat Delmarva 9-1.  Johnny Reuttiger went 1-5 with 3 Ks.  Ty Kelly went 3-4 with a double.  Michael Ohlman went 0-4 with a K.  Parker Bridwell gave up 3 earned in 5.2 innings on six hits and 2 walks, striking out 1 and posting a GB/FB of 6/9.
