Not true!
It only works with iOS 4.0 and beyond. iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and any iPod Touch generation 2 or later will work. Either iPads will work as well though it’s not optimized for the iPad at this time.

I have the app
But comments don’t seem to update live and each time you refresh, it takes you to the top of the page. It makes game threads impossible to follow
