Norfolk beat Gwinnett 4-1. Josh Bell went 3-5 with a homer and a K. Brandon Snyder went 1-4. Kyle Hudson went 2-3 with 2 walks with a SB. Rick VandenHurk went 7 innings, giving up 1 earned on 5 hits and a walk, striking out 5.
Bowie lost to Erie 7-5. Xavier Avery went 0-5. LJ Hoes went 2-4. Joe Mahoney went 2-4 with a double, a homer and a K. Caleb Joseph went 0-3 with a sac fly. Aaron Baker went 2-4 with 2 strikeouts. Greg Miclat went 1-3 with a walk and 2 Ks. This was a tough loss for the Baysox, as they gave up 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th. Jose Diaz went two thirds of an inning, gave up 2 hits and was charged with a blown save.
Frederick lost to Potomac 5-4 in 13. Jonathan Schoop went 2-6 with a triple. Manny Machado went 1-5 and committed his 11th error in Frederick. Kipp Schutz went 0-5 with 2 Ks. Jason Gurka went 3 scoreless with 3 Ks and 1 walk with a GB/FB of 3/2; for the season the lefty has a K/BB in Salisbury and Frederick is 64/9 in 51.1 innings, with a 2.98 ERA.
Greensboro beat Delmarva 5-4. Parker Bridwell gave up 4 earned in 5.1 innings on 4 hits and 4 walks, striking out 5 and posting a GB/FB of 6/5 with a wild pitch. Johnny Ruettiger went 1-4 with a walk. Ty Kelly went 0-3 with a walk. Michael Ohlman went 0-4.

Aberdeen lost to Staten Island 8-4. Glynn Davis went 1-5 with a double and a K. Mychal Givens went 1-4 with a walk, 3 Ks and a CS. Joe Velleggia went 2-4 with a walk and a K. Wynston Sawyer wetn 1-4. Connor Narron went 2-3 with a walk. Dudley Leonora went 0-3. 5th rounder Matt Taylor went 1.2 innings without giving up a run, allowing 1 hit and 1 walk and striking out 3.
The GCL Orioles beat the GCL Rays 9-6 in 13. Rod Bernadina went 2-4 with a homer and a walk. 18 year old catching prospect Gabriel Lino continued his fine season in the GCL, posting an OPS of 832 in less than 80 at bats though. Today he went 1-4 with a homer.
The DSL playoffs continue, and the DSL Orioles beat the DSL Royals 3-0. Byron Capellan went 2-4 with a SB and 2 CS. Hector Veloz went 1-2 with a double and a K. 21 y/o Haitain Williams Loiuco threw a one hit shutout, striking out 8, walking 2.
