Matthew Lindsay is a lifelong Orioles fan who just happens to be the official scorer for the Dayton Dragons, a minor league affiliate for the Cincinnati Reds. He took this photo from his spot in the press box at Fifth Third Field. In this game the Dragons were hosting the Peoria Chiefs, a Cubs affiliate, on July 22, 2011.

haha that's exactly what I said to him when he emailed me!
He said that when the team arrived in town he went to their job fair and petitioned for the job, pretty much.
Giraffes have absurdly strong necks.
