Around the Minors 9-4-11:

Norfolk lost to Durham 3-2.  Josh Bell went 0-4 with a K.  Brandon Snyder went 0-4 with 2 Ks.  Felix Pie DNP.  Steve Johnson gave up 3 earned in 6.1 innings on 9 hits and 1 walk while striking out 4 and posting a GB/FB of 3/8 (kind of odd considering his last start).  He finishes the year with an ERA of 5.56 in AAA.

Bowie beat Erie 10-2.  Xavier Avery went 2-5 with a SB.  LJ Hoes went 3-5 with a double.  Joe Mahoney went 2-3 with a double and two sacrifice flies.  Caleb Joseph went 1-4 with a walk.  Aaron Baker went 0-5.  Ronnie Welty went 2-4 with a double, a homer and a K.  Richmond lost 1-0 to Altoona, keeping the Baysox playoff hopes alive.

Frederick lost to Wilmington 4-1.  Jonathan Schoop went 1-3 with a walk and a K.  Manny Machado went 1-4 with 2 Ks and a CS.  Kipp Schutz went 0-3 with a K.  Ashur Tolliver gave up a solo homer in 1 inning, striking out 1.

Delmarva lost 6-2 to West Virginia.  Jake Cowan had a tough start, giving up 5 earned on 6 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings, striking out 3, with a GB/FB of 8/4.  Johnny Ruettiger went 0-3 with a walk and a K.  Ty Kelly went 0-4 with his 9th error on the season.  Michael Ohlman went 1-4 with 2 Ks.

Aberdeen's season mercifully came to an end, as the iBirds lost to Hudson Valley 3-2.  Glynn Davis went 0-4 with a K.  Mychal Givens went 1-4.  Joe Velleggia went 1-3 with a walk. Wynston Sawyer went 0-1 with a walk and was removed for a pinch hitter.  Connor Narron went 1-2 with 2 walks.  Dudley Leonora went 1-3 with a SB and a CS.
