A Hero's Reception is What They Deserved...

And it's exactly what I (and countless other Orioles fans) gave them last night. Can you hear me start the O'Day chant? He seemed to enjoy it. Jason Hammel, Lew Ford, Troy Patton, and Mark Reynolds also really got into it with the high fives. We're not done yet, Baltimore... One of these days we're gonna have a waiting party where everyone's clamoring to touch a shining piece of metal, as it's carried by our outstretched fingers, hoisted aloft in the air... As we greet our WORLD CHAMPION Baltimore Orioles. Might even happen in 2013. April can't come soon enough! (It might take me that long to get my voice back...)

Welcome home, Orioles! (Return from the 2012 ALDS) (via memorialstadium)
