Joy R. Absalon-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Jason Hammel, Wei-Yin Chen, and Miguel Gonzalez are the slated starters for the first three games of the ALDS against the New York Yankees.

Per the usual suspects on the Twitter, these will be the match ups for the first three games of the Orioles-Yankees ALDS:

Sunday: CC Sabathia vs. Jason Hammel

Monday: Andy Pettitte vs. Wei-Yin Chen

Wednesday: Hiroki Kuroda vs. Miguel Gonzalez

Hammel will be making his first start since September 11th, when he had to leave in the fourth inning after re-aggravating his surgically repaired knee. He's been pitching in simulated games since then and has been declared healthy. It's a boost to the team to have him back, provided he's back to his old self.

According to Roch Kubatko, if the rain that is in the forecast for tomorrow changes the schedule, Chen and Gonzalez could change.

It's curious that Chris Tillman won't be making any of these starts. He last pitched on Wednesday, so his normal day to pitch would be Monday. But he wasn't super sharp last week so maybe Buck Showalter wants to give him a bit of extra rest to get back on track.
