Jim Jam is the man. In my eyes he was a big part of the Orioles success in 2012 even if he didn't contribute a whole lot on the field. One perfect example of this is when he was on the DL and he went and did some scouting at AAA for Buck. How awesome is that right? So how awesome would it be if in 2013 he was made the Orioles hitting coach, or if he was given some sort of coaching role with the Orioles Organization. I want him back in 2013 if for no other reason than to give brisk handshakes to anyone who hits a home run in a game. As much as I would love to see Jim Thome back in an Os uniform mashing taters off the bench as a pinch hitter, that is just an unrealistic dream. I don't need to pull any stats up either to show how poorly Jim Jam did this season, and I HATE to say this but he just looked old out there during the season, and especially in the playoffs. But enough about that... I would love to see Jim Jam in the organization next year, and I think he could really contribute as a coach for the Os.
