Traveling to Baltimore
My wife and I will be in Baltimore Feb 16-19 and I was just wondering if anyone in the awesome Camden Chat community may have suggestions for me. We will be staying at the Hilton Baltimore which, according to their website, over-looks Camden Yards. People occasionally do this on Bucs Dugout so I assume it's cool, but if not please feel free to delete it. Thank you in advance for any suggestions and good luck in 2012 Orioles fans.

Also go to babe ruth museum which is in the house he grew up in. Black wax muesum is nice. If you liked the wire, well just ride around the city. For the best pizza that you will only experience in baltimore go to mathews pizza on eastern ave

also, if you ask this question in the Open Thread
You’ll probably get a million responses. Go to the homepage and go to the current Bird Droppings (today wait for Friday to be up.) You’ll probably get a million responses…and start an arguement about pizza…
The Inner Harbor is nice for first time tourists
But it’s expensive and the restaurants and stores aren’t really that unique generally speaking.
I would highly recommend Fells Point. It’s an $8 cab ride or 15 minute walk east of where you’re staying. It’s a very picturesque waterfront neighborhood with 150 year old houses and unique bars and restaurants. There’s also some great shopping there too.

Almost any place
in Little Italy would be great too. If you like Italian food. Its a 10 minute walk east past the Inner Harbor.

Common theme: go east from the Inner Harbor
East east east. When you go west past the stadiums, you run into Omar

When did I say that only the west was bad?
And I grew up in Moravia/Walther homie. I assumed we were talking about the walkable part of the city from the Hilton Inner Harbor, where they are staying.

My B
Moravia/Walther area isn’t that bad anymore. Pretty much all of my family grew up in northeast in the 4×4 neighborhood behind Catholic High. I’d also say don’t go to far north from the harbor either. Lexington Market area can get pretty bad.

Thank you all very much for the advice
And I’ll be sure to avoid Omar. Lol
