Sorry for the late start, but I was a tad busy this weekend running the computer at the 1A/2A MPSSAA State Wrestling Tournament. And oh yeah, look who won at 220 lbs! (That would be one of my wrestlers, thankyouverymuch.)
"J.J. Hardy said he doesn't plan on changing his approach at all from last year, when he batted .269 with a .310 on-base percentage and .491 slugging percentage to go along with his 30 homers and 80 RBIs." Personally, I don't see what's wrong with trying for a higher OBP, but that's just me.
"Right-hander Dylan Bundy pitched a perfect bottom of the fourth inning in Saturday's intrasquad game, which the visiting team won, 3-2. Bundy earned the usual rave reviews in the process." Three consecutive outs? In a row? He's heading north with the team, right?????
"Mark Reynolds said he might have done too much weightlifting work last offseason, leading to added pounds and bulk that kept him from moving as well as he could. So while he still did some lifting this winter, he also focused on plyometrics and cardio -- "lots of running," he said." Somewhere in the Baltimore area, OsFan21's head just exploded.
Hope he remembers to rehydrate before his bout ... oh, wait, wrong sport. Sorry.
"They’ve shown that it can be done, that it doesn’t always revolve around payrolls," Buck Showalter added. "We’re in a unique position that I think we’re going to be able to do both when that time comes."
This just in - Red Sox fans are clueless jerks who are in desperate need of getting a clue.
