A day for odd finishes in Orioles history. 1962, the Orioles lost to the Tigers in the 11th on a passed ball by Charlie Lau with Hoyt Wilhelm on the mound; in 1964, Harmon Killebrew hit the longest home run in Memorial Stadium history, a 471 foot balst and in 1969, the Yankees beat the Orioles 2-0 on a Mickey Mantle home run that popped out of Frank Robinson's glove over the fence.
