Is Robert Andino a good candidate for leadoff? With Nolan Reimold injured, this is a legitimate question for Orioles fans. As of today Andino is hitting North of .340 and has had nine hits in his last fifteen at bats. Management is concerned that they should not mess with him since he is producing well in the nine hole. It is true, but we need a leadoff man who can get on base. Endy Chavez is hitting .109 right now, which Andino could well exceed even if it is foreign to him. If he does produce as a leadoff hitter, he could be better than Brian Roberts ever was.
