This year I've learned a lot about some of the more obscure intricacies in this game. The one I learned today - not everyone is playoff eligible. My excuse, the last time the O's were in the playoffs, I was 8. So i was surprised to learn today that if we were to make a trade through the waivers for a player, like juan pierre, to fill the void at the top of our lineup, he wouldnt be able to play after that first series in october.

so i went about looking for a list of which orioles are actually eligible to play. I looked but could not find an answer and decided to throw this question out to those of you who may know.... Are any of our players on the dl good to go? anyone not? if anyone could post a list.....
