What more could you ask for if you are an Orioles fan or for that matter a sports fan in Baltimore. It really kicked off on Thursday with a second Ravens win in less than 4 days. That good feeling continued into a blowout win on Friday night for the Orioles over the Red Sox.I had a chance to go out to the game on Friday with my wife and 6 year old daughter and what a great experience. My daughter has been to a number of games but nothing was like Friday night. That place was electric from the national anthem through the fireworks. The whole experience reminded me of when my parents would take my brother and I to games at Memorial Stadium.Friday was the type of night that made me reflect and appreciate things. Kind of nice to have something like baseball help do that from time to time with all we have going on. If that wasn't enough I went Saturday night for the Brooks unveiling and that was incredible. To see Brooks and all the Orioles Legends back together was something I will never forget. As I watched the ceremony on the field I couldn't help but think back to so many baseball memories but also personal ones as well. As we wrap up today with the final regular season home game I hope we all can appreciate the present and the past. They mean so much to us and the people we share them with.Let's continue to pack the stadium and create those baseball memories but more importantly personal ones we can carry forever.
