Friday Bird Droppings

James Jerry Hardyenko and the Baltimore Ballet - Patrick Smith

Here comes the weekend...

Happy Friday, friends. If all the recent days off have been bringing you down, you're in luck. The Birds play the next 17 days against the cream of the league (Detroit, New York, Washington, Tampa and, uh, Toronto).

Big weekend series coming up. After winning six straight, the Rays come to town on the heels of two straight losses. Fernando Rodney's a wreck, David Price has been put on the DL and they've just called up young strikeout artist Alex Torres.
