How DO you root for a good baseball team? Despite last year's successful season for the Orioles, Stacey and I still don't quite have the hang of it, but we try to help each other through it. Outside of this good problem to have, we handicap the Orioles' chances based on where they are, look ahead to the upcoming Oakland series, and offer a little praise to trade acquisition Bud Norris, who appears to be an actual solid back-of-the-rotation starter, rather than the usual pitcher who sucks who is optimistically called a back-of-the-rotation starter.
Plus an appreciation of Chris Davis' strength and how it affects his BABIP, Orioles who are streaking and Orioles who are slumping in the second half of the season, possible September call-ups, what the Orioles should do for interesting giveaways next season, and Stacey's message for the ladies who bring J.J. Hardy signs to Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
All this and more in this week's Camdencast.
