Orioles minor league rundown 8/22/13: Adrian Marin delivers in his return for Delmarva

Adrian Marin returned to the Shorebirds, helping them to a victory. Henry Urrutia and Jonathan Schoop also have multi-hit games for Triple-A Norfolk in the Orioles affiliates' minor league action on Thursday.

Norfolk walked off 3-2 in 9th. Zach Britton gave up 1 ER in 7 IP on 3 hits and 4 walks, striking out 2 with a GB/FB of 11/5. Jonathan Schoop went 2-4. Henry Urrutia went 3-4. Wilson Betemit went 0-4 with 2 strikeouts.

Bowie won 8-1. Lew Ford went 2-3 with a homer and a walk.

Frederick lost 7-4. Lex Rutledge retired 4 of the 5 men he faced. allowing 1 walk and striking out 1. Dariel Alvarez went 0-4 with a walk. Michael Ohlman went 1-4 with a walk and a K, and was not run on by the opposition.

Delmarva scored 7 unanswered, and won 7-6. Bennett Parry had a night to forget, giving up 6 ER in 5.1 IP on 7 hits (2 HR) and 3 walks, striking out 3 with a GB/FB of 2/7. He should talk about a certain Oriole announcer about not giving up grand slams. Adrian Marin returned in style, going 2-5 with a double and a homer. Gregory Lorenzo went 2-5 with a SB, a pick off (confirmed!) and two strikeouts. Lucas Herbst goes 1-4. Joel Hutter went 2-4 and homered again.

Aberdeen lost 4-2. Mike Yastrzemski went 1-4 with 2 strikeouts. Trey Mancini went 1-4. Hector Veloz went 2-4 with a double and failed to strike out.
