Hello everyone. My name is Kyle and I'm new here. However, I'm very intertwined with the ins and outs of Baltimore Orioles baseball. As a Marylander, I have grown to know the club pretty well. All of the way from Cal Ripken's latter years as the Orioles third baseman, to Manny Machado manning the hot corner today, I have continued to watch religiously over the years. Going to Mount Saint Joseph High School, located in Baltimore, we also had a rich baseball history. Ironically, Steve Clevenger, who is a current minor-leaguer in the Orioles system, was a Mount Saint Joseph grad. As well as Mark Teixeira, whose name we don't mention too often (He's a Yankee) and Gavin Floyd of the Atlanta Braves. Going to Mount Saint Joseph, I was also awarded the opportunity of working on the Tarp Crew for the Orioles. It was an experience that I will remember for a lifetime. My love of the game continued to grow as I worked for the O's. Because so many players were very courteous, our job was very fun. Meeting Orioles legends such as Brooks Robinson and Earl Weaver highlighted my experience of working for the Orioles. Getting to hang around the players enlightened my experience of the game. Baseball became my daily routine. I hope that I can somewhat relive that experience in writing about the same club that I worked for at one point.
