Last night seemed too easy for the Birds. Wei-Yin Chen breezed through eight shutout innings and Delmon Young provided nearly all of the offense on one swing of the bat. The Seattle bats had no answer and looked, well, like a team in the bottom third of the league in a whole bunch of categories.
Tonight will surely not be easy. Seattle sends the American League leader in ERA and WHIP to the mound. Not to mention he is also second in innings pitched, strikeouts, and batting average. This will be downright impossible. But the Orioles seem like they can do anything these days. They can win without their All-Star catcher and their platinum glove third baseman. They can handle a little bit of high velocity.
