I guess you really can't win them all. After pounding the Cardinals Friday and Saturday, the Redbirds scrapped together a little pride for a Sunday victory. Bah. The Orioles now host the irritating and resilient Yankees. Despite a biblical scourge of misfortunes, this Yankees team has continually managed to pull itself back from the brink like (insert favorite, unkillable horror movie villain here). It would be nice to see the O's put an end to this foolishness once and for all, but I expect a string of tight, draining affairs with a few bloop singles and a whole lot of unnecessary pitching changes. Sigh.
