Kyeong Kang homered for the fifth time in his last ten games. Garabez Rosa and Mike Yastrzemski were both 0-5, but Lil Yaz drove in a run and Rosa stole base and picked up an outfield assist. The catcher/DH formerly known as Michael Ohlman (please, call him "Mike") singled and walked.

The decline and fall of Luis Gonzalez continued without interruption. The Double N pitched two perfect innings.
