Orioles 5, Giants 2: blown saves, so what?

The Orioles get a great pitching performance from Chris Tillman, but JJ loses it in the 9th. Chris Davis comes through yet again, with a two out two run double in the tenth, and the Orioles prevail for their third straight victory.

O's 10, Padres 3: Davis hits #41, O's rally late

Miguel Gonzalez held the Padres scoreless until the sixth, when he gave up a game-tying three-run homer, but Chris Davis returned the favor in the eighth, and the O's tacked on another four runs in a solid win.

Jones 4-4 in San Diego homecoming; Orioles win 4-1

The Baltimore Orioles opened up a west coast road trip with a 4-1 victory over the San Diego Padres in San Diego on August 6, 2013. Adam Jones went 4-4 and hit his 23rd home run for the O's, who also had Bud Norris pitch six strong innings.

Orioles 2, Mariners 3: Death by lefties

Lefty Joe Saunders stymied the offense yet (again) and lefty Wei-Yin Chen stumbled in the late innings (again) to give the Mariners the series win.

Smoak and Saunders send the Orioles to an 8-4 loss

The Baltimore Orioles lost to the Seattle Mariners, 8-4, on August 3, 2013 in Baltimore. Scott Feldman gave up five runs in 4.2 innings for the O's, and Justin Smoak reached base five times for the M's, with Michael Saunders hitting two home runs.

O's 11, Mariners 8: Bang go the bats

Tonight was the kind of night where the pitching coaches on both sides hang their heads. 19 runs scored and seven balls left the yard, but the O's hung on to win the slugfest.

Orioles win Norris' debut, 6-3; Davis hits 39th HR

The Baltimore Orioles beat the Houston Astros by a 6-3 score in the finale of their three-game series on August 1, 2013 in Baltimore. Bud Norris pitched six innings to get the win in his O's debut. Chris Davis hit his 39th home run of the season.
