Gameday Thread: O's (23-20) @ Yankees (20-24)

I'm sick of playing these bottomfeeding teams. Can we get some competition around here already?

Today's Starting Pitchers GS IP ERA WHIP BAA BB K W-L
Daniel Cabrera - RH 9 60.1 3.58 1.23 .225 24 37 4-1
Mike Mussina - RH 9 49.2 3.99 1.17 .274 6 24 6-3

Rumors of Mike Mussina's demise have been a little bit exaggerated. He's throwing quite well this year. That doesn't make him any DANIEL CABRERA, however. Cabrera's control has been excellent lately, as he's walked just three in his last 23 1/3 innings. The strikeouts will never approach what they were at one point, but if he stops walking everyone for real, then he doesn't need them. He's done a good job this year pitching to his defense. And he's working on a streak of seven straight Quality Starts. Not bad at all.

I'm sicker than all get out with one of those lovely spring colds. I'll try to catch the game, but I might catch a nap instead.
