Cubs/Astros Friday and Saturday games postponed due to Ike

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The Chicago Cubs/Houston Astros series scheduled for this weekend at Minute Maid Park has been postponed due to the expected arrival of Hurricane Ike to the Houston area on Friday.
Friday and Saturday's matchups between NL playoff contenders has been postponed with no definitive makeup date set in stone.
Thursday's game in Houston between the Astros and Pittsburgh Pirates will take place as scheduled, while the Cubs will travel back to Chicago after their tilt in St. Louis.
