They just pulled off the biggest trade of the season landing Cabrera and Willis for 6 prospects

"The Tigers acquired Florida Marlins slugger Miguel Cabrera and pitcher Dontrelle Willis for star prospects Cameron Maybin and Andrew Miller, plus four other players, according to reports."

Seriously, if they have Sheffield and Ordonez healthy (and yes, you smell a lot of "if" comin' off of that plan) and Cabrera...Great Ruth, that's one hell of a murderer's row. I do NOT wanna be a lefty who has to face that lineup. And let's not forget Guillen. Tigers made a strong play here. Good on them.

Dontrelle

Dontrelle has the same ERA+ as Daniel Cabrera in 2007. Miguel Cabrera is on the HOF path, so you have to like that, though the Marlins did get a nice haul of prospects.

It's a shame the Marlins have zero cash...if they could actually retain the players they have, they would be a legit threat year-in and year-out. Of course, the sad part for all the Marlin fans is that they'll go through three years from now with Hanley Ramirez.
