If September is to be useful at all...

it's Audition Hour. Let's see what Olson, Liz, Birkins, maybe even Penn and Johnson have, and let's see it as starters. Liz and Olson are already penciled into the rotation, and Burres may be back in.

Show me Moore at 3B, Hernandez at SS, House at catcher. Let's see how they do against MLB players. What else is there to play for this season - a tenuous grasp on 4th place?

Play the kids 2-3 times a week. And if Mora or Huff or Payton sulks, show 'em the door.

after the Irsay incident and then living in Tampa, never really developed much taste for the sport. Though the Panthers have had a few good seasons. Still, not the same as the Os.

I agree

Took me a while to get used to the Baltimore Ravens instead of Colts, but after drafting so many quality players and then winning a superbowl while the Orioles started their downward descent, it was hard not to like the new football team.

I hope the D'Rays are wearing hard hats because the O's are falling fast. This team is headed for the basement. At least the D'Rays are playing for pride. The sad sack O's have nothing.

It's good to see Hoey Headcase did his work tonight. Even if he turns it around a little, you have to wonder if he'll ever have the fortitude to be a closer. Not looking good now. The team has virtually nothing going right. The only reason to tune in is to see just what kind of astounding ineptness will occur. That's not for me. I'm gonna stop even checking the scores.
