After throwing 7 innings of shutout baseball, vs. the Indians, Saturday night, Dave Trembley had decided he had seen enough from Brian Matusz.

After getting swept in four games by the Red Sox, the Orioles should be furious with their performance in Boston. But they should also put it behind them and move on to the home stand at Camden Yards. I was undeniably upset about how the Orioles played in the series. I questioned some of Dave Trembley's moves, criticized the play of Felix Pie, and was frustrated with the starting pitching. It’s a new day. A new series. And it’s time to think with a different mind set.

About 6 and a half years ago Lou went as Luis and he was a struggling first round draft choice of the Cubs playing under Trembley in Daytona. After nine seasons Trembley was let go by the Cubs, partly because he failed to make sure Montanez succeeded. Some of the players, including Montanez and his agent, claimed that Trembley worked his players too hard.
