I am a school teacher in NC and am originally from NoVa, and I remember watching the '83 series as a kid and saying, "hey these guys are pretty good I am an Orioles fan." I am still an Orioles fan, but the World series will probably never happen again, ever. I hate to think I could die never seeing the O's win again, but hey Cubs fans are dying every year. I figure I can always just remember what it was like to be a 9-year old again.

I would be interested to know what all the orioles are making this season. If you could include salaries we are on the hook for (Gibbons) then that is great. The SI site salaries do not look up to date (Is Traschel really making 3 mil this season?)
The reason is I wanted to compare the production of players versus their salaries and guage the health of the team this year versus last year.
Even a link would be awesome.
