Dodgers name GM, Matsui stays with Yankees

After flirting with the idea of hiring Kim Ng as the first female GM in baseball history, the Dodgers have gone with Ned Colletti, who has been an assistant GM with the Giants since 1997.

Braves assistant GM Dayton Moore has turned down the Red Sox GM job. Moore seems likely to replace John Schuerholz in Atlanta whenever Schuerholz retires.
