Post-game thoughts: O's 9, Red Sox 3

Interesting things about Tim Wakefield's start tonight:

He gave up a three-run homer to Geronimo Gil.

He gave up back-to-back homers to Tejada and Sosa.

It was his fourth loss in as many starts.

Ponson pitched good ball until the seventh, when things unraveled a bit, but thankfully we had a 7-0 lead by the time, and all three of the runs he allowed were recorded unearned.

One more game at Fenway before we swing over to Detroit to try to get back at the Tigers. Hayden Penn starts tomorrow, and that is a scary thought. The Orioles are now 15-6 on the road, as compared to 17-14 at Camden Yards, and are also 18-7 against AL East foes. This is how you contend.
