Gameday Thread: Stros at O's, lookin' for the sweep

Wandy Rodriguez, LH Rodrigo Lopez, RH
     (2-2, 8.41) (5-2, 4.52)

Game time is 7:05 on CSN and FSN Southwest. The chances for a sweep seem good. The Astros are 7-25 on the road.

What the hell is a Wandy Rodriguez? He's a 26-year old Dominican southpaw who has made four major league starts, all of them this year. None of them have been very good. For instance in his last outing, a 4-2 win against the Blue Jays, he went six and gave up just four hits and two earned runs, striking out three. He also walked six people. His start before that he was shelled for nine runs in 2 2/3 against the Cards.

Other than that, I know nothing about Wandy Rodriguez, his velocity, his pitches, anything. I can see from a card at Crawfish Boxes that he wears (or at least used to wear) his hat rather stylishly.

One thing I did notice yesterday was that Willy Taveras is maniacally fast. He has to be the fastest guy in the majors. I thought Nook Logan could burn, but I'm pretty sure Taveras would leave him in the dust.
