With an RBI double down the left field line to put the O's up 4-1, Rafael Palmeiro just joined the 3,000 hit club in Seattle. Hopefully you caught it on ESPN. Right now, the Orioles are celebrating at second base and the Seattle crowd is giving a standing ovation. Just about as good as you could hope for a 3,000th hit. Not only does it give him the milestone, but he helps the team while he's doing it.
