Game time is 7:15 on CSN.

McClung has made 21 appearances and four starts for the Rays this year, and his ERA and WHIP (1.63) are wildly high despite a .243 BAA. Walks. Walks walks walks. Going from the Twins' control pitchers to McClung (6.31 BB/9) is going to be like culture shock.

If you want to know a little more about McClung, check out this spring training post at DRays Bay, one of our sister sites in the SB Nation network.

Chen seems to have gotten over the toe injury and mini-slump he had, and was sharp at Safeco last time out. In his career against the Rays (three starts), he's 1-0 with a 3.93/1.25/.239 line, striking out 19 in 18.1 innings. He hasn't pitched indoors this year, but for his career he's good inside, 3.45/1.14 with 82 Ks in 88.2 innings.

This a series we certainly need to win for a few reasons. First, it's the Devil Rays; second, we just took two tough losses in Minnesota; and third, it's the end of this road trip, and it would be nice to finish it on a high note.
